Our new Volvo Penta D16 MG IMO III is an in-line 6-cylinder, 16.1-liter direct-injected engine that is especially developed for installations in heavy duty commercial displacement crafts. While surpassing the requirements of the latest IMO Tier III emission regulations. The new D16 MH/MG IMO Tier III marine engine package is designed to sustain high backpressure while delivering high power, efficiency and low fuel consumption. The SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) exhaust after treatment system is tailored for a perfect fit. The SCR unit, also a silencer, reduces noise by 35-40 dBA. The engine features a robust block with ladder frame, high pressure unit injector system, 4 valves per cylinder, twin parallel turbo­charger with wastegate and charge air cooler.
